I wasn’t in position or ready when baby Andrew gave us a big smile… 🙂 but I knew I couldn’t miss this expression, so I quickly focused and pressed the shutter to capture the moment before it passed! Luckily for the proud parents, I know my way around Photoshop very well, and I was able to make a beautiful photo from what otherwise would have been missed or deleted!
Of course, it’s always better to “get it right” in camera, but for the times when a photo needs extensive editing in order to be “useable”, you can be confident that you’ve chosen a photographer that’s able to catch the moment and provide you with quality photos to cherish for a lifetime 🙂

Fabulous PS work! Sometimes retouching is crucial in the success of an image. Especially with babies – they don’t work on our cues, or our schedule! Great job on capturing a fleeting moment. Love it! If you had never mentioned it, no one would have known it was ‘saved’!
