I remember visiting Avery when she was just a few days old (she’s my god daughter). My little guy was born just a few months later, and I feel like the past 3 years have been a blur! Is the world spinning faster or something?! 😉

I have been wanting to try out this new set for a while, so I was excited to have Kim and her “baby belly” in studio! She certainly has the beautiful glow of a soon-to-be mom!

I’ve had an influx of “serious” babies in studio lately! While we always manage to get some smiles, I find myself drawn to the serious expressions. And sweet Bridgett’s serious look is no exception!

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Beth a few times since she was born. It’s always fun to watch the babies grow into kiddos in front of the camera 😉
She was one of the few 1 year olds I’ve had in studio that were able to “run around” at their 1st birthday session. Haha – I had to catch her in motion! Of course we did get some “portraits”, but I like this playful shot of her too.
Chloe’s purely innocent expressions are precious! My sessions are not only focused on the “picture perfect smile”, but rather, capturing baby’s expressions and milestones at that time in his/her life. Hence, the photo I call “That Darn Tooth!” is a keeper in my books!
I’m so glad Chloe’s parents made the trip “out around the bay” (from St. John’s) for her 1st Birthday session.

We tend to have family pictures taken often when kids are small, but don’t forget to update your family portrait when the kids are grown up as well! It was a pure delight to have the Oates family in studio while Amanda was home from Minnesota.
